Autoři ve svém článku shrnují novější informace, týkající se prvotních mimouzlinových lymfomů a doplňují je vlastními zkušenostmi ze symptomatologie a diagnostiky těchto zajímavých nádorů. V prvé části je podrobněji vymezen pojem tzv. MALTomů a je pojednáno o problematice lymfomů trávící trubice, lymfomů hlavy a krku a lymfomů centrálního nervového systému.
