Současné trendy v léčbě intoxikací

Akutní intoxikace patří mezi četné indikace příjmu na jednotky intenzivní péče nebo ARO a u dospělých pacientů jsou nejčastější příčinou netraumatických poruch vědomí. Díky včasným terapeutickým opatřením nemocniční mortalita nepřevyšuje 1?% případů. Článek shrnuje současné trendy terapie akutních intoxikací se zvláštním zaměřením na perorální cestu a pojednává o indikacích eliminačních metod a antidot.

Current approach to the intoxicated patient

Acute intoxication is a common diagnosis for ICU admission. The intoxications are the most frequent cause of non traumatic coma among adult population. Early and appropriate therapeutic interventions reduce the overall hospital mortality to less then 1?%. Our article summarizes current approach to the intoxicated patient. The elimination techniques and antidotes are mentioned in the review fashion.
