Sleeping disorders

Basic survey information on the most serious and frequent sleep disorders, which are evaluated in a sleep laboratory, possibilities of diagnosis, treatment and relation to other diseases are defined in the article. Potential health and social economic consequences of sleep disorders, that general practitioners and internists on all levels of health care have been commonly dealing with, are well described.
