The Importance of Sympathetic Hyperactivity in Cardiovascular Diseases

This brief review summarizes proofs of the key role of increased sympathetic activity in origin and outlasting of cardiovascular disorders. Results of experimental studies support unambiguously an idea, that an increased sympathetic activity is closely connected to pathogenesis of lots of coronary risk factors including increased coagulation, vascular hypertrophy, left ventricle hypertrophy, insulin resistance and dyslipidemias.
