Jsou popsána diagnostická kritéria chronického únavového syndromu (CFS) platná od r. 1988 (Holmes) a 1994 (Fukuda), jsou uvedeny rizikové faktory, výskyt, průběh nemoci, příbuzné syndromy. Dále jsou popsány projevy CFS v interním lékařství, gynekologii, pediatrii, neurologii, psychiatrii a imunologii. Je uveden přehled polypragmatické léčby.

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

The diagnostic criterian of chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) to be valid till 1988 (Holmes) and 1994 (Fukuda) are described, the risk factors are introduced and again the incidence, the course of illness and similar syndromes too. There are described manifestations of CFS seen at the internal medicine, gynaecology, pediatrics, neurology, psychiatry and imunology. A review of polypragmatic treatment is introduced.
