Diagnostika tumorů nadledvin se v důsledku obrovského rozmachu vyšetřovacích postupů posledního desetiletí zásadním způsobem změnila. Kombinace laboratorních a zobrazovacích metod umožňuje zachytit v oblasti nadledvin nejen patologické změny, ale také je poměrně spolehlivě pojmenovat. Samostatnou kapitolou jsou incidentalomy, příležitostně zachycené útvary v této lokalitě (tento název je však používán i pro náhodný nález struktur jinde, například v oblasti hypofýzy!).

Contemporary Clinical Approach to adrenal Tumors

The diagnostics of adrenal tumors changed in the last ten years because of a enormons swing in the area of outfinding technics. A connection of laboratory and visual methods makes possible not only to catch pathological changes in adrenals but also to name the change reliably. An independent chapter are incidentaloms, happen discovered in this local conditions (the name incidentaloms is also used in happen finding of structures at other areas, e.g. pituitary).
