Diagnostický postup u pacientů s lymfadenopatií nejasné etiologie

Patologické zvětšení lymfatických uzlin (lymfadenopatie) provází velký počet nemocí. Nejčastější příčinou jsou infekce. Dalšími příčinami mohou být maligní choroby (metastázy nádorů, krevní choroby), autoimunitní nemoci, reakce imunitního aparátu na cizorodé látky (latex, léky), histiocytární a jiné nemoci. Proto nález lymfadenopatie je indikací k podrobnému diferenciálně diagnostickému vyšetření.

Diferential diagnosis of lymphadenopathy

Lymphadenopathy with enlarged nodes is common in many diseases. Infectious disease represents the most frequent cause. Other causes of lymfadenopathy may be various malignant tumours, autoimmune diseases, enhanced immune response to antigenic stimulation, and other disease status. Thus, lymphadenopathy should be a reason for thorough examination of the patient.
