Článek podává přehled typů zátěže při echokardiografickém vyšetření, využití dobutaminové echokardiografie v diagnostice a stanovení terapeutického postupu u ischemické choroby srdeční, metodický postup vyšetření, senzitivitu, specificitu, indikace, nežádoucí účinky a kontraindikace dobutaminové echokardiografie. Hodnotí výhody dobutaminové echokardiografie oproti jiným zátěžovým metodám.

Stress Dobutamine Echocardiography in Ischemic Heart Disease - methods, indications, conditions, procedure and general principles for practice

The article gives a review of types of stress testing in echocardiography, describes the value of dobutamine echocardiography in the diagnosis and therapeutic management of ischemic heart disease. It defines the methodic procedures of dobutamine echocardiography, its sensitivity and specificity, indications, side effects and contraindications. The article evaluates the advantages of dobutamine echocardiography over other stress tests.
