Význam synchronizace při elektrické kardioverzi supraventrikulárních arytmií

Elektrická kardioverze je jedním z nejúčinnějších způsobů akutní léčby poruch srdečního rytmu. Aplikace výboje během vulnerabilní fáze srdečního cyklu může vyvolat fibrilaci komor. Toto riziko lze odstranit synchronizací výboje na vlnu R, která by měla být použita v naprosté většině případů kardioverze tachykardií se štíhlými komplexy.
