Sdělení shrnuje faktory rizika, která ohrožují nemocného v souvislosti s plánovaným nekardialním chirurgickým výkonem. V přehledu se snaží utřídit jednotlivé rizikové faktory do problémových okruhů a kde je to možné, stanovit jejich relativní závažnost. V souladu se současnými trendy navrhuje racionalizaci laboratorních a pomocných vyšetření, tak aby byla v souladu s náročností plánovaného výkonu i stavem pacienta. V závěru je nabídnuta možnost schematicky rozdělit nemocné podle závažnosti rizika.

The outfinding of patients before a noncardiac surgical operation

The article summarises the risk factors to patients in connection with planned noncardiac surgical operations. Briefly, the author classifies all the risk factors into problamatic groups and, where possible, considers the clinical relevance. In accordance with the new trends he suggests a rationalisation of the laboratory and outpatient findings in order to identify patients requiring specific surgical procedures and to ascertain the exact state of the patient. A quicker method of the schematic devision of patients into those with serious risk factors is also offered.
