The indications of women to coronarography - do not we indicate too much?

Previous studies from te U.S.A. and Canada have demonstrated that women who are hospitalized for coronary heart disease undergo fewer major diagnostic and therapeutic procedure than man despite the fact that coronary artery disease is the leading cause of death among women. This policy has been labelled as Yentl syndrome. Some more recent studies from Europe showed no substantial evidence for gender differences in diagnostic procedures and utilization of revascularization procedure. Furthmore, evidence that highlight differences - or lack differences between men and women in the Czech Republic are still needed.
