Poznámky ke klasifikaci fibrilace síní a její terminologii

Fibrilace síní je intenzivně zkoumána již od konce 19. století. Rozsáhlé písemnictví zabývající se touto arytmií často ztrácí na přehlednosti v důsledku rozdílné terminologie užívané při jejím popisu. Následující přehled shrnuje nomenklaturu týkající se fibrilace síní s uvedením aktuální terminologie vycházející z doporučených postupů odborných společností.

Remarks on atrial fibrillation classification and nomenclature

Atrial fibrillation is intensively investigated arrhythmia already from the end of the 19th century. Ample literature concerning this rhythm disturbance can lose intelligibility in certain extent due to different terminologies applied to its descriptions through the years. Following review summerizes nomenclature concerning atrial fibrillation and mentions actual terminology based on guidelines reported by international proffessional societies.
