WHAT IS NEW IN THE TREATMENT OF UROLITHIASIS

Scientific and technical advancement brought revolutionary changes in all places of medicine during the last 20 years. The most important place in the treatment of the urolithiasis is now in the area of miniinvasive surgery. It depends on the finding of the extracorporeal focused shock wave and in progression of endoscopic surgical treatment methods. This is a view of modern technology and therapy with their physical principles and mechanisms of effects. But no one from these methods has universary utilization. Correct strategy of the treatment is individual and depends on the analysis of many important aspects.
