INTERVENTIONAL METHODS IN THERAPY OV CORONARY ARTURY DISEASE

Although the interventional methods of revascularization have been used more frequently already since the nineties of the last century, last year it represented more than 2/3 of all the revascularization made in the Czech republic. At present the frequency of the interventional techniques is as follows: coronary stent - balloon angioplasty only - atherectomy - other techniques. The article is engaged in the present capability of the interventional therapy especially from the clinical point of view and in the current concepts of the appendant pharmacotherapy.
