V krátkém přehledu je shrnuta problematika schistosomóz, jejich diagnostika a terapie. Vzhledem k novým trendům vývoje turistiky je totiž možné, že se i v České republice v nejbližších letech dočkáme importovaných případů této u nás zatím jen raritně diagnostikované parazitózy.

THE RISK OF SCHISTOSOMOSIS (BILHARZIOSIS) IMPORT

Problems of schistosomoses, their diagnosis and therapy is briefly summarized. Regarding new tourism trends it is possible, that new imported cases of such so far rarely diagnosed parasitosis can be expected in Czech Republic in forthcoming years. Key words: Schistosoma, urinary tract, gastrointestinal tract, prazikvantel.
