Dopplerovská ultrasonografie, echo flow analýza, měření periferních systolických tlaků a index kotník/paže patří mezi základní diagnostické techniky u nemocných s onemocněním končetinových tepen. Přehledný článek shrnuje základní metodické poznámky, indikace a klinický význam jednotlivých metod.

Sonographic techniques in the diagnosis of limb artery diseases

The Doppler ultrasound, echo flow analysis, measurement of peripheral systolic pressures and ankle/brachial index are main diagnostic techniques in evaluation of patients with peripheral arterial disease. The review article summarizes basic methodology, indication a clinical usefulness these methods.
