Hypertenzia predstavuje najčastejšiu komplikáciu v tehotenstve. Hypertenzné komplikácie naďalej ostávajú najčastejšou príčinou materskej a perinatálnej morbidity a mortality. Liečba sa stále významne nezmenila po dobu viacerých rokov, pre chýbanie -evidence base- v zavádzaní nových liečebných postupov.

HYPERTENSION AND PREGNANCY

Hypertension is the most commonly occuring complication of pregnancy. Hypertensive disorders have remained one of the leading causes of both maternal and perinatal morbidity and mortality. Management has not changed significantly for many years because of little progress in our understanding and lack of an evidence base for the introduction of new therapies.
