Poranění ostrým předmětem ve zdravotnictví jsou závažná především z hlediska přenosu infekčních onemocnění. Nejvýznamnější cestu ke snížení rizika bodných poranění je prevence. Nezanedbatelné je též dodržování postupů v případě samotného poranění dle platné legislativy.

Risks of injuries of medical personal by sharp objects

Injuries cased by sharp objects in the health services are serious particularly due to the risk of transmission of infectious diseases. The most important way to decrease a risk of stab injuries is prevention. In case of injury is also indispensable following the guidelines according to the legislative.
