V článku je uvedena klasifikace bolestí hlavy, je popsán rozdíl mezi primárními a sekundárními bolestmi hlavy a postup při stanovení správné diagnózy. V případě primárních bolestí hlavy je ukázána důležitost správné anamnézy jak pro určení typu bolesti hlavy, tak pro získání důvěry pacienta. Pro sekundární bolesti hlavy jsou uvedeny varovné projevy, jejichž výskyt ukazuje na závažné postižení nervového systému, které je třeba urgentně řešit.

Primary headache - classification, differential diagnosis

The article presents the classification of cephalea, the difference between primary and secondary headaches is described, the diagnosis and management have been introduced. The importance of taking the correct patient history in the case of primary headache is crucial in order to establish the type of headache and obtain patient´s trust. Warning signs typical for secondary headache are pinpointed, the occurrence of which reveals the severe impairment of nervous system that is necessary to be solved immediately.
