V přehledném článku jsou uvedena nejčastější onemocnění slinivky břišní, u nichž je indikována chirurgická léčba. Stručně jsou připomenuty operační principy a možnosti současné chirurgie v léčení nejdůležitějších nemocí pankreatu - nádorů, chronické pankreatitidy a akutní pankreatitidy.

Possibilities of surgical treatment in diseases of pancreas

There are presented the most common disease of the pancreas in a review article, where surgical treatment is indicated. Principles of surgery and possibilities of present surgery in the treatment of the most important diseases of pancreas - tumours, chronic pancreatitis and acute pancreatitis - are briefly mentioned.
