SKIN PRECANCEROSES

Skin precanceroses are changes, which may lead to formation of malignant skin tumours after shorter or longer time course. They may be obligatory, which transform to tumour regularly and facultative, which lead to tumour only occasionally. Obligatory precanceroses are usually due to long lasting action of UV radiation, chemical carcinogens (tar, arsenic) and X-rays. Facultative precanceroses encompass chronic inflammatory changes, chronic degenerative changes, some benign tumours and nevi.
