Urinary tract infections (UTI) are considered to be the most common bacterial infections. They affected people during their lifetime depending on age and sex. The diagnosis and treatment community-acquired UTI is mostly the matter of physicians. The urologists examine the patients with complicated UTI. In the scope of interdisciplinary co-operations we search for the optimal way of diagnosis and treatment of UTI. We emphasise the prevention of recurrent UTI and minimization of the risk of the lasting consequences and economic aspects (the cost of examinations and treatment, duration of morbidity), of course.
