Spánek a epilepsie

V přehledném článku jsou charakterizovány možné vztahy epilepsie, fyziologického spánku a poruch spánku z pohledu klinického i některých elektrofyziologických projevů. Ovlivnění epilepsie a spánku je možné z řady pohledů, vliv spánku na epilepsii a epilepsie na spánek, vliv spánku na elektroencefalografické projevy epilepsie v interiktálním a iktálním období, vztah některých epileptických záchvatů a některých parasomnií. V následujícím textu jsou uvedeny některé z těchto vztahů, na které je dobré v každodenní práci s pacienty s epilepsií pamatovat.
