Komunikace s geriatrickým pacientem

V oblasti vzájemného vztahu mezi zdravotníkem a nemocným má nezastupitelnou roli sociální komunikace. Komunikace je v obecné rovině definována jako sdělení informací nebo vzájemná výměna informací prostřednictvím nejrůznějších signálů a prostředků. Jde-li o výměnu informací mezi lidmi, hovoří se o sociální komunikaci nebo sociální interakci. Komunikace v rámci profese vyžaduje zcela zvláštní dovednosti, kterým se musí profesionální pracovníci naučit již během přípravy na své budoucí povolání.
