Modern treatment of bronchial asthma

The author provides a current perspective on bronchial asthma as a chronic condition with global health, economic, and social impacts. The paper deals with the therapeutic goals and procedures which are based on current international consensuses and included in the strategies of prevention, diagnosis, and treatment by specialists involved in the management of patients with bronchial asthma in the Czech Republic.
