Treatment chronic virus hepatitis C two female over 65 years

The following announcement presents two female patients over 65 years old with chronic viral hepatitis C, genotype 1 infection, who

were successfully treated. Despite high age, comorbidities and adverse effects of the treatment that was carried out in the shortened

regime/pegylated interferon alfa 2a or 2b and ribavirin/, and patients achieved sustained virological response.
