Multiple organ failure induced by repeated yew intoxication

The author describes the course of yew intoxication at a young patient. This relatively rare type of poisoning is associated with high

mortality rate. It is caused by significant cardiotoxic effect of taxines. In conclusion the author briefly reviews available therapeutic options.
