Nové poznatky v oblasti diagnostiky a léčby potravinové alergie

V posledním desetiletí zaznamenáváme celosvětově výrazný nárůst alergických reakcí na potraviny, s různě závažným klinickým průběhem od mírných, spontánně odeznívajících potíží, až po těžké anafylaktické reakce, bezprostředně pacienta na životě ohrožujících, které urgentní léčbu, často s hospitalizací buď na jednotkách intenzivní péče nebo dokonce na anesteziologicko-resuscitačních odděleních. Toto vše vede k intenzivnímu výzkumu v oblasti nových možností kauzální terapie potravinové alergie.

New knowledge in the field of diagnosis and treatment of food allergy

Significant increase of allergic reaction to food is recognized worldwide in the last decade, with variously significant clinical course: beginning in mild difficulties, vanishing spontaneously, ending with severe anaphylactic reactions, threatening patient-s life immediately and requiring urgent treatment, often with hospital stay either in intensive care units or even in anaesthesia-resuscitation wards. All this leads to intensive research in the field of new options in causal treatment of food allergy.
