Omezovat konzumaci zeleniny při léčbě warfarinem a ethylbiskumacetátem?

Vitamin K je antagonistou warfarinu a ethylbiskumacetátu. Z údajů o obsahu a využití vitaminu K1 (fytomenadion = phytonadion = fylochinon) obsaženém převážně v rostlinách by příjem vyvážené a pestré stravy obsahující adekvátní, obecně doporučovaný podíl zeleniny neměl negativně ovlivnit interakce mezi těmito dvěma látkami, proto se nejeví účelné omezovat příjem listové a košťálové zeleniny. Při pravidelném užívání těchto perorálních antikoagulancií je nejdůležitější kontrolovat testy krevní srážlivosti a dávku účinné látky (warfarinu, ethylbiskumacetátu) aktuálně upravovat a tím současně zajistit účinnost i bezpečnost léčby, aniž bychom museli usměrňovat příjem zeleniny. Jistě je namístě o vzájemné interakci vitaminu K a warfarinu pacienta poučit (např. s ohledem na možné excesivní nebo alternativní stravovací zvyky pacienta).
