Epidemiological studies show that 30-50% of all patients with chronic heart failure have normal ejection fraction of the left ventricle. Mostly in these patients, the primary cause of heart failure is a diastolic dysfunction of left ventricle. In the scope of interdisciplinary co-operations we search for the optimal way of diagnosis and treatment of UTI. We emphasise the prevention of recurrent UTI and minimization of the risk of the lasting consequences and economic aspects (the cost of examinations and treatment, duration of morbidity), of course.
